Our mission is to deliver the essential building blocks of nuclear power—enabling cost-effective, safe, and secure energy for the world.   The Supply Chain Manager supports Standard Nuclear’s manufacturing operations by developing scalable supply chain strategies for direct materials, components, equipment, and critical suppliers. This role is focused on supplier strategy, continuity of supply, cost analysis, and material readiness in support of fuel production, facility buildout, and operational growth.   This is a hands-on strategic supply chain role for an experienced professional who can build supplier relationships, evaluate sourcing options, support cost-effective procurement decisions, and help establish the supply chain foundation needed for a growing manufacturing organization. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, and operations teams to ensure supply chain decisions support production, compliance, cost control, and long-term operational reliability.     RESPONSIBILITIES     Supplier Strategy & Sourcing

Develop and support supplier strategies for direct materials, components, equipment, and production-critical services

Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers based on capability, quality, cost, lead time, risk, and scalability

Support supplier selection, negotiation, diversification, and long-term sourcing decisions

Build and maintain supplier relationships that support manufacturing scale-up and operational reliability

Identify alternate sources for critical, constrained, or high-risk materials and equipment

Continuity of Supply & Risk Management

Develop strategies to ensure continuity of supply for direct materials, components, equipment, and CAPEX needs

Support forecasting and planning for long-lead materials, critical equipment, and production support needs

Identify supply chain risks, single-source dependencies, capacity constraints, and supplier vulnerabilities

Develop contingency plans to reduce supply disruption risk and improve resilience

Work with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to understand future demand and translate it into sourcing and supply plans

  Cost Analysis & Commercial Evaluation

Conduct bottom-up cost analysis and supplier cost breakdowns to evaluate pricing, cost drivers, and savings opportunities

Partner with finance and engineering teams to assess total cost of ownership, make/buy decisions, and procurement tradeoffs

Identify opportunities for cost reduction, increased cost efficiency, and improved commercial terms

Support negotiation strategies using data-driven cost analysis and supplier market intelligence

BOM, Material Planning & Supply Chain Data

Support development and maintenance of bills of materials, item master data, sourcing information, and planning inputs

Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to translate technical requirements into supply chain requirements

Ensure supply chain data supports accurate planning, procurement, inventory strategy, and production readiness

Help establish scalable processes for BOM readiness, material planning, and supplier data management

  Quality, Compliance & Supplier Qualification

Partner with Quality to support supplier qualification, vendor evaluation, and audit readiness

Support supplier documentation requirements related to NQA-1, quality programs, certifications, traceability, and technical requirements

Ensure sourcing decisions account for quality, compliance, documentation, and regulatory expectations

Work with Quality and Engineering to resolve supplier documentation gaps, technical issues, and material acceptance concerns

  Cross-Functional Supply Chain Development

Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, finance, quality, facilities, and operations teams to support supply chain execution and long-term planning

Communicate supplier risks, sourcing options, cost impacts, and continuity concerns clearly to stakeholders

Help establish supply chain processes, tools, and routines that support future growth
