Job Description

Build at Auger Auger is the autonomous operating system for supply chains — the layer that finally allows disparate systems like ERP, WMS, and TMS to work together instead of against each other. Most supply chain software surfaces problems and waits for a human to act. Auger solves them. Our AI detects disruptions, evaluates trade-offs, and executes decisions automatically — moving from signal to action in seconds, not weeks. We eliminate the Coordination Tax: the billions in capital and time lost when disconnected systems force the best people in the business to become the Human API between planning and execution. At Auger, we design autonomy into our systems. We expect the same from our people. That means: Clear ownership, not decision by consensus First principles over inherited patterns Shipping systems, not slide decks Fast feedback from reality, not opinions If you want to build, ship, and iterate against reality, Auger is for you. Auger was founded by Dave Clark and is backed by $150M from Oak HC/FT and Eclipse Capital. Headquarters in Dallas, TX and Bellevue, Washington. About the Role Auger sells measurable outcomes to companies that have already been burned by vendors who promised outcomes and only delivered software. The Customer Solutions Architect is the person who stands between that history and the next promise, on the ground, for as long as it takes to prove it true. Based out of our Dallas HQ - with frequent travel to customer sites - you are the senior face of Auger to our Customer’s executives and operators, and you run the program that delivers Auger’s value: the plan, the milestones, the dependencies, the status. You surface risks early, remove obstacles for builders, and aren't afraid to have the hard conversations that keep the deployment on track. You partner with a Product Lead who owns what gets built and a GTM lead who owns commercial strategy, but the customer relationship and the day-to-day execution belong to you. You are measured on one outcome: whether the customer got the value Auger promised, and whether they can see it. The person who excels here has run complex, high-stakes engagements before and can hold the whole deployment in their head while making it look controlled even when it isn't. They read a room fast, earn trust with senior stakeholders quickly, and stay composed when a conversation gets hard. Supply chain or operational experience helps you earn credibility with operators on day one, but program management instincts and composure under pressure are what carry the role. What You'll Do Own the onsite customer relationship, becoming the trusted senior presence the customer's operators and leaders rely on and the first call when something is wrong. Run the program: drive the plan, milestones, dependencies, and status across a complex, multi-workstream deployment. Keep the engagement on the rails by surfacing risks early, unblocking fast, and managing hard conversations onsite before they escalate. Partner with the Product Lead and GTM lead so the customer hears one coherent story about what's being delivered and where the account is headed. Set execution priorities and make sure every thread is tracked and closed. Translate between the customer and Auger: carry operational reality back to the Product Lead and engineering, and carry product direction back to the customer. What you bring 10+ years managing complex, high-stakes program or engagement deployments in Fortune 500 environments. Demonstrated ability to build trust and manage relationships with senior stakeholders. Familiarity with supply chain or operations, from direct experience or adjacent work. High EQ. Reads the room, builds trust fast. Excellent customer-facing UX. Polished and credible in front of senior customer stakeholders. Willingness and ability to travel heavily and live onsite for the duration of engagements. Experience navigating high-pressure conversations with ease. Compensation & Benefits As part of our commitment to People Powered Greatness, we invest in our team members with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits to support your health, financial future, and daily life. The package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and commuter benefits. Total compensation may include a combination of a competitive base salary and equity. Your initial placement within our salary range will be based on your experience, qualifications. The base pay range for this role is $200,000 – $250,000 per year.
