Job Description

Build at Auger Auger is the autonomous operating system for supply chains — the layer that finally allows disparate systems like ERP, WMS, and TMS to work together instead of against each other. Most supply chain software surfaces problems and waits for a human to act. Auger solves them. Our AI detects disruptions, evaluates trade-offs, and executes decisions automatically — moving from signal to action in seconds, not weeks. We eliminate the Coordination Tax: the billions in capital and time lost when disconnected systems force the best people in the business to become the Human API between planning and execution. At Auger, we design autonomy into our systems. We expect the same from our people. That means: Clear ownership, not decision by consensus First principles over inherited patterns Shipping systems, not slide decks Fast feedback from reality, not opinions If you want to build, ship, and iterate against reality, Auger is for you. Auger was founded by Dave Clark and is backed by $150M from Oak HC/FT and Eclipse Capital. Headquarters in Dallas, TX and Bellevue, Washington. About the Role This role is equal parts supply chain operator and technical innovator. You've spent your career inside supply chain operations. You know what it's like to watch a forecast miss, a shipment get stuck, or an exception queue pile up faster than anyone can clear it. You've fixed these problems with judgment calls and a spreadsheet because the systems around you won't. You've sat through software demos and known, within minutes, that whatever they built would not survive contact with how your operation actually runs. That gap is exactly what this role closes. As a Product Lead – Customer Solutions at Auger, you take everything you learned running a real operation and turn it into software that operators like you will actually trust and use. You're the person who decides what the product needs to do to be right for the operation it's going into, and you make sure it lands with the people who will depend on it every day. Here's how the work reaches you: before a customer signs with Auger, we build them a working prototype to prove our ability to deliver on their use case.  Once that customer signs a contract, the work becomes real, and that's where you take over. You turn that early prototype into a finished solution that their team can rely on daily, prove it works, and then define what Auger builds next to expand further into that account. You work side by side with Auger’s Customer Solutions Architect who runs the day-to-day customer relationship. They own the relationship and the schedule; you own what the product does and why, and together you make sure the customer hears one consistent story. You're also the one in front of the customer whenever the conversation turns to the product itself: demoing what's been built, mapping workflows, listening to what is and isn't working for their operators, and turning that into what you build next. The customer should think of you as the person who owns the product they're getting, not someone relaying messages from an engineering team they never see. This role belongs to someone who has actually run a supply chain operation, not studied one. You've been accountable when a plan didn't hold up or a shipment didn't show, and that experience means you know the difference between a product that looks good in a demo and one that survives daily use by real operators. Pair that with a bias for getting things shipped over getting stuck in planning, and the confidence to run a room of customer stakeholders who have seen plenty of vendors overpromise before. What You’ll Do  Take ownership of the prototype once the customer signs a contract, and turn it into a finished product plan with clear scope, sequencing, and measures of success. Define what the product needs to do for the customer's operators day to day, grounded in how their operation actually works, not how it looks on paper. Partner with the person running the engagement onsite: they own the relationship and the day-to-day program, you own the product decisions, and together you keep the customer hearing one story. Work directly with Auger's engineering team to build it, making the calls on tradeoffs and what gets built first. Prove the first piece of the product works, then define what Auger builds next to expand further into the account. Get in front of the customer regularly: demo what's built, map workflows, listen to what operators actually need, and turn that feedback into direction for what comes next. Who you are Real experience working inside a supply chain operation, such as planning, inventory, logistics, or fulfillment, not just around one. A track record of owning a product implementation through to real users. Strong judgment in ambiguous, fast-moving situations with no clean playbook. The confidence to run a room of customer operators and executives and hold their trust. A bias for getting things shipped and landed, not stuck in endless planning. Willingness to be based in Dallas and travel to customer sites as engagements require. A background spanning both operating a supply chain and building product, such as an operator who owned major digital transformation initiatives. Compensation & Benefits As part of our commitment to People Powered Greatness, we invest in our team members with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits to support your health, financial future, and daily life. The package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and commuter benefits. Total compensation may include a combination of a competitive base salary and equity. Your initial placement within our salary range will be based on your experience, qualifications. The base pay range for this role is $180,000 – $250,000 per year.
